Thanks Dave I have added the update and all is working.

Can you tell me if it is better to convert the MP4 file format to flv before publishing – does this
compress the file so that it is quicker for the user to open or doesnt it matter, as once it is published
through Presenter the file is compressed anyway – does that make sense? Kate

Hi Kate, Sorry to take so long to get back. Maybe you have found the answer to your question. Presenter ’09 does recognize the mp4 format so my guess is that you are using an old version. Get the latest version of the Studio ’09 installer by checking for updates in Presenter ’09 (Articulate -> Help and Support -> Check for updates). No need to uninstall your current version. The new installer will just update it. (BTW you should be running 6.2.907.1413 Pro)

Hi Dave
excellent tutorial and what a fantastic application – its so easy!
however I have one question Presenter 09 doesnt recognise the MP4 file format.
I assume we have to use the encoder and convert to flv before inserting through the flash icon in
presenter?

Dave, thank you! Screenr is cool. I already imagine my junior students using this tool to record several basic activities and posting screenr link in qizmaker’s survey questions! :)
