Use the same system as decribed but have the module you want recording in the LMS as part of the main menu presentation. ie. it would not show up a web object but just within your overall presentation player. On the last page of the module, you can place a link to go back to the main menu. When the user has seen all the pages of the module, they will have effectively seen all the pages of the presentation (make sure that they can't just jump to the last page) and it will show up as completed in your LMS.
